Otto x Reichhalter

Vadim and Sören from Otto Berlin came to our guesthouse in early May to create a culinary highlight. For lunch, they served an à la carte menu featuring a creative selection that included mustard eggs, beef tataki, turbot, and rye-wild garlic plin with veal shank ragout. In the evening, they delighted guests with a six-course menu composed of veal tartare, black kale with sunflower seed tahini, white asparagus, veal shoulder, pickled beetroot, and a financier dessert. Each course was designed for sharing, creating a special sense of connection among the guests.

Sören and Vadim’s innovative creations are made from the freshest ingredients and inspired by Berlin’s local cuisine as well as international influences. They brought a new nuance to our historic guesthouse and filled our cozy dining room with the warmth of savoring good food in community.

The following Saturday, they also hosted the famous Poolhouse Grill at Villa Arnica, setting the tone for the season with the elegantly decorated Tavolata in the garden.

About Otto

Otto is a small, vibrant neighborhood restaurant in Berlin, deeply rooted in its region and known for its seasonally changing à la carte menus. All of their dishes are meant to be shared, creating a culinary connection between guests. In line with our philosophy, they source most of their ingredients from their own fields or from small organic farmers, producers, and hunters in the immediate surroundings. This way, they infuse each of their creations with the pure taste of the nature that surrounds them.
